How do I use a free web proxy without installing software?
Open ProxyOrb, paste the full website URL into the proxy box and submit it. Supported pages are requested through the proxy and opened in your existing browser, without installing an app or extension.
Is the basic web proxy free, and do I need an account?
Basic web browsing through ProxyOrb is free and does not require an account or payment details. Free access does not guarantee availability, unlimited capacity or a particular speed. An optional Plus membership removes ads provided by ProxyOrb; it does not remove ads from destination websites or guarantee faster browsing.
Should I use a web proxy or a VPN for one website?
A web proxy is useful for opening a supported page without installing software. ProxyOrb handles requests made through the proxy; it does not create a device-wide VPN tunnel or route traffic from other apps.
Does a web proxy make me anonymous or keep no logs?
ProxyOrb processes technical data to operate the service, diagnose errors and prevent abuse. It does not guarantee anonymity: accounts, cookies and managed devices can still identify activity. Read the Privacy Policy for data practices.
Can I use a web proxy on iPhone, Android or a Chromebook?
ProxyOrb runs in current mobile and desktop browsers with JavaScript and Service Worker support. No app installation is required. Browser settings, device management or network restrictions may prevent it from working.
Can a web proxy play YouTube videos or open login pages?
Some pages and videos may work through ProxyOrb, but playback and sign-in depend on the destination website, media format, DRM and anti-bot checks. Access to every website, account or video is not guaranteed.
Can my school or employer see that I use a web proxy?
ProxyOrb does not disable device monitoring or network policies. Administrators may see connections to the service; managed browsers and signed-in accounts may reveal more activity. Use the proxy only where your network permits it.
Why will a website not load through the proxy?
Check the full URL, try a public page and refresh ProxyOrb. Use a current browser with JavaScript and Service Workers enabled. An offline destination, proxy blocking or network restrictions may still prevent access.
